Remote viewing cameras and video recorders
Devices can be viewed remotely when connected to the internet. On a Windows PC, a device can be viewed and configured by entering in the DVR’s external IP address and HTTP port in the Internet Explorer browser (i.e. http://[IP_ADDRESS]:[HTTP_PORT]). With some device firmware versions, Internet Explorer is the only browser supported, however the PSS software can be used on most platforms. There are also apps for Android and Apple phones/tablets which can be found on the app store. Please refer to the Networking page, or call technical support if assistance is needed.
