Remote control does not work properly with video recorder

By default, the remote control included with a video recorder should be programmed properly to connect and operate the unit.  However there are times where the remote control needs to be programmed.  To do so, click the Add button on the remote controller and the unit will display a dialog requesting an ID number.  This device ID number is 8 by default on most video recorder units.  Enter in the number 8 and the remote controller will be properly synced with the unit.

If the remote controller still does not work after entering in the device ID, check to make sure the device ID entered is correct.  To do so, log in to the video recorder and go to Main Menu > Setting > General and check the Device No.  When hitting the Add button the remote controller, enter in the Device No.
