For PSS to display properly on a Windows PC, the DPI setting must be set to 100%. To do this on Windows Vista onward:
- Right click the desktop and select Personalize.
- In the lower left, under the See also section, click Display
- Change the text size to Smaller – 100% (default) and Apply.
- Re-logging into the computer will put the setting into effect.
Windows XP:
- Open Display in Control Panel.
- On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
- On the General tab, in the DPI setting list, change the DPI to 100%
- Restart the computer when prompted.
If menu options are obscured by the taskbar or are outside of the screen, try using a higher resolution setting. Users may find it difficult to use the PSS on smaller monitor sizes, such as found on certain laptops or on legacy systems.
