Video recorder beeps repeatedly when first powered on
A video recorder continually beeping is signifying that there is an abnormality with the device, most commonly a missing hard drive or net disconnection. To stop the beeping, press the power button on the device three times. If there are no plans to install a hard drive or connect the video recorder to a network, the alarms can be disabled in Main Menu > Advanced > Abnormalities menu within the video recorder.
